Intro 02:12
Don't call me a criminal, my appearance is from experience. Getting my throat tattooed until I'm delirious. You ever grow your hair until it's an afro and high school kids wanna treat you like you're an asshole. But today that's all confidence. Gives me humility when I speak out my esophagus. Used to find me at punk shows moshing, now you can catch me teaching Islamic doctrine. Because life is a development. I'm trying to gain intelligence and avoid irrelevance. Alex Plus he's the composer. I lace the track without losing my composure. This compact disc given to you for some exposure. I'm trying to go public without becoming a poser. Some people's attention is faster than an hourglass, they're skipping the intro before I finish my paragraph. I'm from the Island of Staten. That's the borough that's forgotten. Not connected by the subway so we're not as rotten as the rest. But it also makes us sheltered. I'm covered in tattoos but never done a jail term. I got a beard like I'm homeless, but on the microphone I'm fully focused. So don't forget to check the live performances. I wanna see you in person singing to my choruses. The audience surrounds the perimeter but still I represent like a senator. See if I got a shred of credibility, check the lyrics and see what I said up on this melody. I'm curious about your preconceptions. Are you college freshman going through adolescence? Or do you have a family and reached maturity, corrupted by experience or maintaining your purity?

Hoodlum 03:01
Emotional, anti-sociable, my state of mind is non-negotiable. I don't care if I'm approachable. I can see it in your demeanor you think you're meaner than the next. So let's address the greeting that you gave me, no it ain't all gravy. You didn't even make an attempt to treat me like a man when you gripped my hand and you winking to your friend. Why you think I'm lifting, ripping composition. Talking with precision, coughing no you listen. Laughing? No it's action. Prepping for this moment, lessons of aggression. Yes, I'm a Muslim tattooed like a Hoodlum. If you think you could son, but I think you shook son. Pain is a sensation that you don't wanna feel, but if you've ever felt it you just wanna kneel on the ground helpless thinking you was real. You're fragile in a battle, so emotional. Yelling uncontrollable. The setting's getting blurry, getting ready to get worried. My contacts falling out of my face. I brace for impact in fact I take a taste. You scheming, you didn't have a good enough reason. I'm breathing heavy running down the street, who do I see? Son, we got beef no it need to get checked. Son, we got beef no he need to get left in the dirt hurting for certain, no love for this person, my skin's bare and it's spurting but I don't care if it's curtains. So the aftermath, the drastic actions I took got me looking sloppy from my head to my foot. Unless it's protection respect it, direct your aggression respective of who deserves it. This person you're having words with - be a wordsmith. Not everything is urgent, overlook much. Don't put your foot in your mouth or you'll be walking with a crutch. This is for those who love the One who created them - undebatable. The moral: don't quarrel over the price of a quarter. Quarrel over the life of your daughter. Over the right of a martyr. Keep your sight in the distance and live life with persistence.

Ain't no competition. Compositions are written in haste, you're getting bit in the face, feel the lyrical rage. I believe in miracles, a Muslim. People are looking shook when they look in my direction, no question. No introduction needed when you get defeated. Conceited MCs can get deleted, I mean it. I'm liable to be your rival while you're hiding in that bottle. With that tough guy routine it's your pride you're gonna swallow. Don't ask so many questions when you know the answers. We set a chain reaction like spreading cancer. Everybody's talking about the sickest flow. Sammy Doodle has it you already know. So get over yourself. Ayo, it's drastic, during Ramadan I fasted. Contestants can get bested, my method intrepid. Protect your neck kid. I'm well respected, and that's accepted. My swords are swishing when my verbal in the air. Words will come in pairs and my rhymes will come in schemes. Conversation seems to be flowing like a stream. Well esteemed, gimme room to breath, brutal when I speak. Best to show me some etiquette, my rhymes are heavily accredited. Set it off, better get it ready, edit it. Independent we got you surrounded. Underground sound, now you're confounded. Life's a lesson and you're a contestant. Be expressive project your perspective. And my weapon of choice is my voice. On the strength we destroy, bring the noise you enjoy.

Socially outcast when I blast my punk rock now I listen to hip-hop about gunshots and heroin deals. Remember how it feels when you were young and innocent in a sense you was meant to be more than just a product of your parents. You got talent and that's apparent, don't be embarrassed. So where you focus your energy mentally, physically, spiritually? It's a development and soon you'll be a veteran, just make sure it's the right direction that you're heading in. I got a headache, I need a medic, and if I don't say it then I'm sure that I'll regret it. I got issues with people packing pistols, whether it's police or government issue. If you don't know me I'm gonna come get you, you didn't know homey? Your government hates you. This is why I don't fear the punishment of our government. I'm vicious like Sid in the pit but now the show is finished, so I'm outside intending to be a menace in minutes. I see a skinhead with a flag - a patriot. Only thing worse than patriots are atheists. I give him a bump to know his number. See if he's gonna stumble like some lumber or tumble like some timber, it's plain and it's so simple. I don't like the cut of your jib, I don't like the way that you live, the way that you are, the way that you walk. I waited too long because cops rolled up and said this while they stayed in the car. "Please cease and desist, and don't resist we'll make this brisk. Just get in the squad car we're gonna take you to the fifth" precinct - me thinks I gotta start jetting. Hard to believe these situations that I get in. Now here I am running from authorities wondering if what I did was really right morally. I got fear alone for the God who created, not for those who inhabited and slaughtered the natives. Not for those who gravitated away from the sacred and want the whole civilization stuck in the matrix. To be couch potatoes, and eating doritoes while our government's in other countries shooting torpedoes. We're worried about the fashion the latest trends, and how we can make some cash for our lady friends. So don't pretend you don't see what's going on around you. Don't let this song leave you how it found you. Be suspect, for those who want some justice we just check and balance our muskets. When the situations critical realize that revelation's literal and believe in miracles. Your level of faith is pitiful. In God we trust realize that His judgment is absolute.

I keep a beard that keeps the skinheads disgusted. Tattoos, bruised, battered but not corrupted. This is introduction so now you've been confronted. Slam dance until your ego's getting busted. But I'm not from Boston, because I'm from the Staten. When I went to high school I started in Manhattan. That's when I was molded with social interaction. Now that I'm older I treat them with compassion, and never with oppression unless they get aggressive. Ration out my anger because my anger's precious. I'm vegetarian, plus you know I'm Muslim. Dreads like rasta but not to be mistooken. I'm that wordsmith, that Persian, the verses emerge from my throat. I ain't rapping because I'm broke. I grew up in New York with them goombas now I'm representing New Jersey in your boombox. I grew up with punk, but hip-hop is my passion. Forget your roots and your whole tree comes crashing. Independently released but not sloppily because hip-hop monopoly trying to turn my act a novelty. Dependable but I ain't conventional. You're just a bunch of puppets talking about the same old topics. Overconfident, non-chalantly comment how you always had the promise when you knew that you was garbage then. And I thought you had integrity, all this social status got you thinking that you're pedigree. Every time you're in the magazine as a celebrity. Success rest on your shoulders too heavily. Rappers is poets talking about fantasies, like Sonny in A Bronx Tale "now you can't leave." So hand me the microphone, I'm right at home and never nervous. Hot like a thermos, serve your purpose. Most rappers today is clueless and worthless, it's Sammy and Son of a Hundred well worth your purchase.

My parents are literally from the Middle East. I was born in Shaolin aka Little Italy, so hear my soliloquy. Hear the pitter-patter of little feet. Now men wanna call me terrorist unnecessarily. Warily, I walk in places where my face is distinguished. My parents are Persian but my first language is English. You can catch me at friday prayers in Brooklyn. Getting weird looks they've never seen a tattooed dreaded-bearded Muslim. Cops wanna arrange for my arraignment. Say I'm an assailant so they doctor up some fraudulent surveillance. Take me to Guantanamo, do me like they did Geronimo. All this oppression is not honorable. Treat me like an animal, consume the world just like a cannibal. Addict them to alcohol just to get the capital. I think you wrote the manual on colonialism and putting people in prison just for practicing religion. This is the religion that we practice, so embrace this information because we know you lack this. Some of us were born here and some of us have accents, the brotherhood has love from the streets to the Masjids. Honestly, there's not enough modesty in our community. Everybody's acting so reckless with such impunity. And scrutiny is something that people don't take so easily. We believe that much of society acts so sleazily the Fire will engulf them, the culprits are held accountable. Everything you've done in your life there's an unsurmountable amount of evidence. And it was evident ever since you was a youngin never cared about your brother's betterment. So now the same sentiment, you're just not a commodity. When I told you I practiced Islamically you took it as a comedy. You thought reality was just a parody. Apparently, a strong mind today is such a rarity. So stay focused and show patience. It's persistence and consistence when it's trials and tribulations. In the violent situations, in the times that people racist. Through the war and propaganda, until they read me my Miranda. I'm a Muslim.

Perspective 03:04
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the fellowship. If you've got intellect get ready to develop it. Living life with discipline, me and my constituents. Not happy with the ignorance up in this society. In your university they ain't about diversity. They're all about conformity - fraternity, sorority. So who's your authority, the mayor or the governor? Or are you just a southerner who likes to fly the dixie. What's your ethnicity and are you identifiable? If there was a crime then would you be a viable witness or do you mind your business. Guilty individuals these criminals are lurking, clean cut persons. But in the end you'll get your portion. Realize there's only One God to worship. And if you don't believe, it's your funeral. Better get a three piece suit that looks suitable. In my community conformity got me craving acceptance. Acceptance is obsession, obsession is stressful. So I suggest you keep it in perspective. The image I project do I pretend that my identity is built on an obscenity. Or do I act so pedigree you wish you could get rid of me. I think I'm intellectual, a gentleman. I'm better than the man who's to the left of me. I think I'm making enemies and physically or mentally. Forcefully or willingly, you wish you could get rid of me. I'm up in this facility and I got the ability, physique, and the agility to speak up on this melody. Actually, I think I'm being irrational. The cause of all this passion and this friction is our differences. All the confidants and the ambiance that we've taken from the cradle to the grave. We just don't know how to behave or mesh together whenever we have conversation. Just remember any endeavor you engage in - a stranger is a friend you haven't had the pleasure of spending a day with. Other civilizations have been destroyed who employed better tactics of war and of course they exulted. The culprits putten in the ground. Not a sound or a peep, nor a weep or a cry. All the pride that was hidden in their hearts couldn't help when they stand in front of God and they're banished to Hell. The advantage they hold currently through their currency. When they whispered under they're breath making enemies of friends instead of just living in harmony. Armories instead of elementaries, penitentiaries instead of hospitals. Hostile instead of hospitable. Critical and cynical, basically they're miserable. When they forgot the Afterlife and got excited by the world that they roam. Because they always called it home. But behold it was their souls that they sold. And that's the way it goes.
